Everybody had a great time, and I wanted to thank you for taking us

I know it was a really large group and we can't thank you enough for

I hope I can come on another tour some day when I visit Canberra

G’day Allan,
Just thought I’d drop a line regarding the two longer tours we did
last week.
The Thursday night tour with the ladies from Canberra Girls Grammer
was an absolute riot, I reckon it was probably one of the funniest
we have done in ages. The girls were great, they were all dressed up
and got into the “spirit” of the tour and I have to say were a lot
better behaved than some of the older groups we have had on tours,
full credit to them, you can invite them back anytime. Miss
Catherine the bus driver was also great, I won’t say too much but I
reckon the girls now think she is one of the coolest teachers at the
school. Miss Catherine ROCKS!!!!
The Friday the 13th Tour with Kristie’s group was also a lot of fun,
a great group and full credit to Kristie for all the organising.
After the tour I heard that Kristie had even contacted a radio
station trying to get them to participate and by the sound of things
we could have booked a couple of buses after the publicity the radio
station gave out.
Almost all of Krisite’s group were in fancy dress and everyone was
right into it which makes it much easier for Tim and I. Ray the bus
driver also went along with the jokes and got into the fun of the
night, considering we have never used Ray as a driver before he was
tops.
It’s a pity we couldn’t have gone to all our usual places, we missed
quite a few on both tours but as you know, time is a big
consideration. Maybe one night we should just go for it and do a
massive tour including all the buildings we know of, but then
again... I don’t think Tim and I have that many jokes, even bad
ones.
Cheers, Tinny

Firstly, we didn't feel AT ALL uncomfortable with any visitors that

Tony has a bad problem with pain in his hips and never can sit still

maggot on a pork chop for the whole tour) but he commented that
there was NO PAIN and he could have sat in the herse for hours-very
cosy and comfy!
Uncanny with "Tom" brushing my hair-not sure if it was a
coincidence, but Tony felt a brush on his arm as well. And for Tony
to agree with what had happened...I was impressed. Not sure what
else "Tom" was up to, but we hope we left him with you Alan!!! (can

Just a comment in relation to entries 9 and 10 below. Firstly thanks
for the feedback, and glad you enjoyed the tour. The suggestion of
getting out of the car to get out and have a look at some of the
places is a good one. However as you indicated, it is very
difficult. The places are usually private, or government property,
or closed at night, or there are public liability issues (even
though of course we have our own) or they want to charge exorbitant
fees. This is why we have the small print on the website and
brochures.
Then of course there is the matter of time. In a 90 minute tour we
are somewhat limited for time and we like to show you as much as we
possibly can in that time.
In any case for those many persons who are seeking a paranormal
experience, we've found that they are actually more likely to have
one in the world's most haunted hearse, Elvira.
Hope to see you on a Weird Sydney, Parramatta or Campbelltown tour
sometime.

Thank you to Tim, Alan and of course the gracious Elvira. My friends
and I recently went on the 9pm tour and had a lot of fun and learnt
some new and spooky things about our home town. I think if there is
any way you can incorporate a more hands on approach it would
greatly benefit the tour. I had hoped to be able to go into the
rooms where these strange incidents occured, standing in the room in
Blundell's Cottage, Duntroon, OPH, Sri Lankan Embassy whilst
listening to the marcarbe stories would really add to the atmosphere
(even if it had to be done during the day -the spirits won't be
resting just because it is daylight!). I realise this would not be
an easy task to accomplish and a lot of red tape to cut through but
firmly believe this would make the tour extremely scary and a unique
experience!! I will certainly endeavour to go on the Sydney tour in

I thought that the tour was excellent. I think it should incorporate
more 'get out of the car and have a wander' type aspects. I realise
that this could prove to be difficult, for example obtaining
permission to wander around Old Parliament House at night, but I
think with the right approach and marketing, an extension of this
tour could do great things for ACT Tourism. Also, having access to
the church in Anslie, and the property in Duntroon. As I mentioned,
getting permission to enter these buildings would be difficult, but
I think the more hands-on approach would go down a treat with
passangers.

Well what a fantastic night and a great way to celebrate a birthday.
Canberra has many dark and mysterious secrets and all told so
brilliantly by our hosts Tim the Yowie Man and Alan the Hearse
Whisperer and we mustn't forget the gracious Elvira an Exquiste Lady
carrying a few extra passengers. I highly recommend this tour and
know that I will be taking both the Sydney and Campbelltown tours
sometime in the future as well as taking a few more friends on the
Canberra tour some time soon. Once again THANKS FOR A GREAT NIGHT
OUT and I know that we've made some new friends along the way...
Keep it up

A truly bowel-loosening experience !!
Elvira was very hospitable having us all in there in such comfort.
Tim's plentiful commentary made the journey extremely enjoyable and
Allan's singing topped the evening off perfectly.
A great time - we all had a ball and never knew there were so many
bizarre going's on in our quiet country town.
It DOES explain a lot about the house on the hill though..
A million Thanks guys !
Can't wait to dig up the dirt on our fellow Sydneysiders !
Paranormally yours,
Gordon & Petra
PS The trip was ALMOST as twisted as that included video..

This tour was amazing. I had know idea about half of the 'haunts'
around Canberra. Tim, Allan and Elvira really make this trip worth
while. With a combination of healthy entertainment and heaps of
facts, the tour has everything! I recommend it to anyone who wants
to see the other side of Canberra. I also suggest that you believe
EVERYTHING about Elvira!

This tour was awesome in every sense of the word .
When I stepped inside Elvira I immediately sensed that we were not
alone . The tour itself was very interesting and I have learnt more
about Canberra in an hour and a half then the whole 12 years I have
lived here . Tim and Allan are great hosts and provided much humour
for the night . I would love to go again . Bring it on !!!!!!!!

Myself and other members of the Castle of Spirits ghosthunting team
really enjoyed this tour of Canberra's dark side. It had all the
most notorious parts of Canberra told wonderfully by Tim, plus a few
new ones we didn't know about before - thanks Tim and Allan for a
really spooky night of fun!

I went on the 7pm tour - and that was spooky enough! Tim the Yowie
Man provided fascinating insights into the history and mysteries of
Canberra! Allan and Elvira also had their own interesting stories. I
definitely recommend this tour!
