About us
Destiny
Tours commenced in 2001 and became very well known for the infamous Weird
Sydney Ghost and History Tour. Until late 2008 when this tour ceased, over
12,000 passengers went on a thrill ride through Sydney's dark underbelly,
seeing a
bizarre and fascinating side of Sydney they never knew existed, in the
comfort of one of our three beautiful Cadillac hearses.
Regrettably, all hearse tours are now finished, however we continue in a
similar vein by mini bus.
Gruesome Sydney Tour -
Sydney's
Grisly, Ghastly and Ghostly Past.
(Note there have been
actual ghost sightings recently on this tour, the same ghost at the same
place each time)

Tour Overview:
So you think Sydney's all
about the beautiful harbour, great beaches and fine
restaurants, right? WRONG! There's another side to the
Harbour City and it's far grislier than anything you could
possibly have imagined!
At Destiny Tours we are inviting you to find out exactly how
horrid, by joining one of our unique night-time tours, taking
in some of the hidden highs (and considerable lows) of
Sydney's dark underbelly.
As you're transported around the city by air conditioned
mini-bus, an expert guide will fill you in on some of the
spookiest and most horrifying tales imaginable. From convict
times to the present day, you'll find out about classic
yarns and grisly modern horrors.
Highlights include the Parramatta River murders, the Butcher
of Sussex Street and the Demon Dentist of Botany Bay.
See Tilly
Devine's actual house, as seen on Underbelly.
Then there are the miserable times when raw sewerage clogged
the streets and the plague knocked Sydneysiders for six. Or
more recent highlights (depending on your definition of
"highlight"!), such as the site of a shocking bikie murder,
and a trip to Sydney's most popular suicide spot.
If you want even more misery and woe, how about Australia's
worst maritime disaster? Or a visit to a mausoleum in a
surprising, exclusive suburban locale?
After being fully spooked, finish off the night in true
Aussie style with a free drink at the Hero of Waterloo, in
the heat of The Rocks (after a good look around the historic
hostelry's haunted cellars!).
And if you'd like to look the part, fancy dress or all-black
garb is warmly received!
Think of all the grisly stories you'll have to share with
your friends afterwards - you'll never look at Sydney the
same way again!
